GOP PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE PAT BUCHANAN SUPPORTS MEDICAL MARIJUANA IF IT IS "THE ONLY WAY TO ALLEVIATE CERTAIN PAINFUL SYMPTOMS"
GOP presidential candidate Pat Buchanan met with editors of the Charlotte Observer on July 28, 1995. They asked him the following question submitted by Rick Doblin of Charlotte, NC:
Q. "Would you support the medical use of marijuana?" A. "If a doctor indicated to his patient that this was the only way to alleviate certain painful symptoms...I would defer to the doctor's judgement."

Call, write or post your approval of Pat Buchanan's support of medical marijuana. He needs to know that this issue will bring him more approval than disapproval. Ask your friends to call and write. Tell them that Pat's position on this issue is encouraging you to reconsider Pat's candidacy. Will they send more information.
