There is an Independent candidate running for the Senate against Slade Gorton. His name is Ted Haley. He is running on a straight "Drug Policy Foundation" platform.
There will be nominating conventions for him on:
Sunday, June 26, 1994 at the Volunteer Park Ampitheater in Volunteer Park in Seattle starting at 2:00 PM.
Wednesday, June 29, 1994 at the 8th floor Conference Room in the Old SeaFirst Building (at 1001 - 4th Avenue in Seattle) starting at 5:00 PM.
He needs signatures from convention attendees in order to qualify for the ballot. Please come and show your support. If nothing else, having a candidate running on the Drug Policy Foundation platform will raise awareness of the issue and educate the public.
