Progress is being made on H.R. 3100 - five new cosponsors have signed on to the bill: Reps. Dellums, Pelosi, and Hamburg, of California, Rep. Scott of Virginia, and Rep. Hinchey of New York. I have no idea if our efforts contributed to this or not, but it's encouraging either way. Those already cosponsoring H.R. 3100 before them are reps Beilenson, Berman, Filner, Foglietta, Frank, Hughes, Jefferson, Mink, Unsoeld, Nadler, Sanders and Stark.
If you are a constituent of one of these seventeen cosponsors, or of the sponsor Don Edwards, I recommend that you call your rep to think him or her for cosponsoring H.R. 3100. If you communicated with any of the new cosponsors, let me know, so we can get some idea of our impact.
