DRCNN ARCHIVES
|
DRCNN was a weekly 4-7 minute radio show produced by the Drug Reform Coordination Network from September 1998 through May 1999, featuring original stories from the front lines of America's expensive and destructive drug war. It was made available for free to interested stations, producers and radio show hosts, in broadcast quality MP3 and Wav format, as well as in Real Audio for preview purposes and for Internet-based listeners. This archive contains the Real Audio preview versions only; click on the dates below to hear them. We are currently seeking funding to restart DRCNN; please e-mail us at drcnn@drcnet.org if you can offer assistance in this area, or to be notified upon DRCNN's resumption. Note: You will need a Real Audio Player to listen to these files. If you don't have one, you can pick it up free by clicking here. DRCNN was based primarily on The Week Online with DRCNet, the world's most widely read drug policy newsletter, published since 1997. The Week Online is an in-depth report reaching over 25,000 subscribers on the Internet and many more through redistribution by our readers and republication of articles in venues around the world. In the wake of our Latin American drug reform conference in February 2003, Out from the Shadows: Ending Drug Prohibition in the 21st Century, we are launching full Week Online Spanish and Portuguese translations as of May 2003. Please visit the DRCNet home page to learn more about our organization and these and other exciting projects and campaigns. |
